EFS Europe Returns to Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre, Lincoln Christmas Market and Ludlow Medieval Christmas Fayre

In the historic town of Bury St Edmunds, the Christmas Fayre is a focal part of the local festivities, and EFS Europe has been supplying temporary flooring for the event for the last three years.
Having expanded by 25% in 2014, the organisers again needed over 2,300m2 of EFS Temp-a-Path™ plastic flooring to protect the city's Cathedral grounds and provide safe pedestrian access for the thousands of visitors.
100 miles north, and EFS Europe also returned to the ancient city of Lincoln for its famous market held in the city's historic Castle & Castle Gardens. Attracting over 250,000 visitors, the organisers again specified over 3,300m2 of EFS Temp-A-Path™ to be installed within the grounds. Having started with just 11 stalls, the market now showcases more than 200 traders and a variety of cultural entertainment.
Over in South Shropshire, the town of Ludlow nestles in some of England's most beautiful countryside. The Ludlow Medieval Fayre is organised by Daikin Events, who once again ordered 600m2 of EFS Temp-A-Path™ to cover sensitive areas of ground within and around the town's ancient castle. The product is installed by the organisers on top of a geo-textile membrane to further protect the ground beneath.
All of these winter events choose EFS Temp-A-Path™ due to its lightweight nature, and the fact that all the sites contain historic listed buildings. The ability to install the Temp-A-Path™ by hand allows the organisers to keep heavy plant machinery to a minimum, reducing the risk of damage to property, roads or footpaths. In all three locations, EFS Temp-A-Path™ is also used to protect grassed areas, reducing the cost of post-event clean up and maintenance.
Speaking about the projects, EFS Europe Business Development Manager Jeremy Simpson said:
"All three of these events have become a regular feature on our own events calendar. Each location presents its own unique challenges, but by using our EFS Temp-A-Path™ product the organisers have been able to grow in size without having to worry about how to protect the site surfaces."
